Walks

The most difficult decision you will have to make is which walk to do.

The walks are varied in length and scenery. You can stroll a kilometre down the beach to our famous Mermaid rocks. Marvel at how the sea crashes over the rocks into rock pools. After the weather has been wild and the tide is high, this is a magnificent spectacle.

Or take the longer walk past mermaid to Monument Lake, where the Walter Hood sank in 1853 claiming a dozen lives. If you have more energy, continue either along the ocean or behind the sand dunes and bush to Bendalong for lunch. You will encounter small pristine beaches.

Other walks take you through Conjola National Park to Fisherman’s Rock or walk via the bush walking tracks for coffee at Swan Lake.

We are able to provide a picnic hamper for your day’s outing if you wish.
