Berrara is 7 kilometres from Sussex Inlet township which comprises RSL and Bowling Clubs, a choice of public boat ramps, a picturesque golf course, picture theatre, numerous small shops, supermarkets and medical facilities, a wide variety of stores and attractions, and a good choice of eating places. For the golfers, Sussex Inlet Golf Club is only a short "drive" away. Swan Lake is located only 2 kilometres from Berrara Beach and is very popular for water skiing, windsurfing and sailing.
From a guest..."What a beautiful location, well worth a visit. The extremely well equipped Chalets offer magnificent views either out to the ocean or down along the beach. The spa was an added luxury, especially with the skylight above it so you could star gaze in style...with the beach right outside your door and a short stroll to the Berrara Lagoon Inlet, who could ask for more. Little ones could play for hours in the very calm waterways or build sand castes to their hearts content in the soft white sand...a very relaxing holiday"

We stayed in an ocean view chalet and it really does have stunning views. It has a fantastic covered verandah with outdoor furniture and an electric bbq. The living areas look out on to the verandah, and of course that stunning ocean view. The chalet was spotless and very tidy, The lounges were very comfortable! The water pressure was high and plenty of hot water. It took very little time to fill the spa bath for two, with a lovely big skylight overhead. The mattress was a little hard for my liking, but others may prefer this. Plenty of big pillows. While the park may appear 'big', we barely heard a peep from any neighbours. Kangaroos will appear in the late afternoon and will let you approach (slowly). The location is not far from Nowra and Milton/Ulladulla. The best places to eat are in the latter. We would definitely stay here again.
